Our Snow Play Package is the easiest and most affordable way to enjoy the snow at Ben Lomond Alpine Resort. Designed for families, first time visitors and anyone wanting classic snow fun without skiing or snowboarding, this all in one bundle keeps your day simple and stress free.

Children Under 5

For safety reasons, we recommend that children under 5 years of age are accompanied by an adult while participating in snow play activities.

We also recommend hiring snow clothing separately for children under 5 to help keep them warm, dry and comfortable in alpine conditions. Toboggan hire is not recommended for children under 5 due to safety considerations.

Be Prepared Before You Arrive

We strongly recommend hiring your equipment prior to arriving on the mountain so you are prepared from the moment you step out of your vehicle.

Having your snow clothing with you and ready to wear means you can change comfortably and head straight to the snow, rather than arriving unprepared and needing to organise clothing after you get there.

Snow Chains Required in Winter

During the winter period, all vehicles entering Ben Lomond National Park are required to carry snow chains, including 4WD and AWD vehicles.

Chains may be required to be fitted when directed by signage, Parks staff, or when snow and ice are present on the road. We recommend organising your chains before entering the National Park to avoid delays.

Planning Your Visit

During busy weekends and school holidays, we recommend arriving 1 to 2 hours before the time you wish to arrive on the snow to allow time for fitting.
